1. Today, I am so extremely thankful that God allows us to have passions and desires, specifically when it comes to God’s will and calling on our lives. His will could have been something we have no feelings or desires for, and same with our calling. But instead, God allows, and even gives us passions and strengths when it comes to the calling He has placed on our lives. I believe God is calling me to counselling, but this is also something I have a huge passion for, and something that fills me and makes me extremely happy. It is such a blessing from God that what He calls us to can also be the thing that makes us the most happy, second to Him, of course.
  2. I am thankful for weaknesses, because they mean victories, and they also make way for God’s strength. I especially love the verse that reads, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
  3. Music. Music has always been one way I have been able to express my feelings and thoughts the best. I love the way it heals, and is an avenue to let out emotions.
